How the Experience Works
Escape to our wood-fired wild sauna near Hastings, set amongst the peaceful countryside of Hop and Hare Farm. Enjoy traditional Finnish-style sauna sessions, refreshing cold plunge tanks, outdoor showers and spring-water hot tubs, all surrounded by nature in East Sussex.
Sessions are available to book in advance. Your sauna will be prepared and heated for your arrival, ready for you to settle in and enjoy. Please bring swimwear, towels, and water is provided.
The sauna comfortably fits small groups and can be booked for private or shared sessions.
Hot rocks
Löyly is the Finnish word for the steam that rises when water is thrown onto the hot stones in a sauna. This gentle burst of humidity is central to the sauna experience. Culturally it encourages relaxation, softens social boundaries, and creates an environment where people feel comfortable opening up.
Enjoy the heat of our wood-fired sauna, invigorate yourself in the cold dip tanks, rinse under the open-air shower, and sink into the mineral-rich warmth of our spring water hot tubs. This is contrast therapy in its purest form – a journey that awakens your senses, strengthens your body, and quiets your mind.
